What do you want him to do make opponents you like out of thin air? invent a time machine? These two are dominating their era and whether anyone likes it or not when they retire they will both most likely be spoken of in FF matches and put on the same level against other ATG HWs for as long as boxing is around.
So is he a good fighter who lost to someone better or will he be cast off as a "hypejob" if he loses?
Considering how the fight is being portrayed...I am sure Wlad will get a lot of credit...but I personally wont go completely crazy for it just because Haye hasnt beaten anyone of note in the division beforehand.....
OF COURSE it's ability > size IN THE SAME WEIGHT RANGE. You know very well that a top featherweight would have only little chances against a BUMMY HEAVYWEIGHT.
and yet you turn around and still spout the same 'real HW' BS, which means absolutely nothing since Ive proven that being bigger!=having more KO power nor makes you have a better chin.
So far you have not proven anything. And especially not with your Julius Long example.
but you dont think any other fighters would? so Holmes would do well, yet Norton, who was large and an outstanding athlete as well and gave Holmes absolute hell, would not?
and you dont think Ali would do well either, despite the fact he beat Foreman(by KO no less).
You are correct. Despite of the fact that Ali KOed Foreman, Foreman would do better in the current era. But as I mentioned above that KO atypical, inconclusive and overshadowed, but that's a topic of its own.
...but you need to at least notice that this was a very good era full of very good HWs, and that a good deal of them would be more than 'competitive' in todays era.
I disagree. I watched too many of these fights to be impressed. Only Foreman would be competitive. The Clay not, Norton not, Frazier DEFINITELY not.

I expect the Wlad win to, maybe even easily but if Wlad does stop him early it wouldn't mean that Haye wasn't any good though I will admit he isn't greatly proven either at HW.
just look at haye...he aintt done sh.it in the division..yet everyone is talking about him....in most other eras...Haye would just be a normal guy moving into the heavyweight division
That is incorrect. During Ali's times Haye's complete record would have been called "heavyweight" thus he would have been the proof of the greatness of the era.
Lets be honest...if Haye was a french man and couldnt speak English...this fight with Wlad wouldnt be hyped at all...in fact it would be more of a Vitaly-Solis build up...........cuz Haye anit done **** yet to prove himself.....
