  • Vitali got a freak injury in the 2nd round and he still dominated Byrd.

If a one armed Vitali can dominate Byrd, just imagine what a healthy Vitali would've done to Byrd.

    Wlad destroyed Byrd twice.

A healthy Vitali destroys Byrd and you haters know it.

    • Vitali Klitschko vs Lennox Lewis

      THE TRUTH

Vitali took the fight on just 10 days notice.

Vitali was clearly winning the fight 4-2 on all 3 scorecards at the time of the controversial doctor stoppage. Lewis was badly hurt, was holding on for dear life and was staggering around the ring like a drunk, he barely survived the 2nd round. Lewis was getting outboxed, outworked, outlanded and was badly hurt several times in the fight.

      punches landed

      Vitali 156

      Lewis 102

Lewis was exhausted, worn down and hurt from the accumulation of punches and was ready to get KTFO again, he collapsed onto his stool at the end of the 6th round, Vitali was clearly the fresher of the two, he was a man on a mission and would've KO'd Lewis for sure if the fight had continued.

All the fans at Staples Center cheered for Vitali and booed Lewis after the fight.

      Lewis promised Vitali a rematch.

Vitali destroyed Kirk Johnson in 2 rounds and called out Lewis again in the post fight interview. The scared Lewis retired shortly after that fight.

Lewis turned down 30 million dollars for a rematch and retired like a coward because he knew he would get destroyed by Vitali.

Vitali dominated Lewis and scared his bitch ass into retirement.

George Foreman: "Vitali was winning the fight. Lewis got lucky. There has to be a rematch!"

Jim Lampley: "A lucky escape for Lewis who was clearly losing the fight"

Even Emanuel Steward was upset and pissed off at Lewis for blatantly ducking a Vitali rematch.

Lewis is scared to death of Vitali.

      • Lewis was coming off the KO win over Tyson. In the Lewis-Tyson post fight interview Lewis stated "I'm like fine wine, I get better with age"

In an interview right before the Vitali fight, Lewis said "I'm at the peak of my powers, I will keep fighting for many more years"

Vitali dominated Lewis and scared him into retirement. That's a FACT.

A fat lewis fought a foreman & shavers "style" fight & blooded vitali all up....these guys would probably go ahead & end vitali.....this is the thing with vitali. what happens when a opponent has found his way on the inside.....what happens when a opponent has taken his hardest shots & is still exploding in his chest like a animal (while vitali gas for air) THIS IS THE 70s. it wouldn't be long before vitali find himself in these kind of fights (even a lot of bums of that era are willing to give vitali a tough fight such as this) I personally think vitali would crumble. 70's guys were tough. tough as nails.....this is not A fat slop titty ball division. as far as wlad. I see him getting knocked out & possibly hurt badly.....
Wait...Lewis fought a Shavers style? He fought a Foreman style? HAVE YOU WATCHED BOXING? Seriously you know **** about ****.

And fat opponents...If thats how you are judging people, how many 250 pound guys with 6 pack abs did Ali fight? None? OK STFU and get out of here.

Howd frazier do against Foreman? How is he going to do with someone with a better chin than Foreman, taller, stronger, and smarter? Who fights taller, who throws more punches, who uses space better?

Shavers lost to a fighter with a losing record in his prime. A losing record. In his prime. It wasnt like a one hit shot either, he was UD'd. Although Shavers did have a china chin as well...can you imagine that chin of his in the ring with a guy like Vitali...a guy with the greatest KO% of any HW champ.

Why do people always bring up Shavers. Whenever I read a post and I see Shavers brought up, I know right away I am dealing with a moron.

Shavers against fighters over 215 lbs who did not have a losing record:

          7 wins 8 losses
One win was to a 1982 version of Joe Bugner...not sure if that should count, but lets count it anyways

2 were against Henry Clark...who didnt win another fight in his career, completely shot

1 against a guy names Roy Williams

1 against 88 year old ken norton

And who could forget his win over the Michigan State Heavyweight Champ Ali Hakiim...who also never won another fight...

Clearly size destroyed Shavers...and these are guys over 215...

Shavers beat one fighter in his entire career over 225 lbs...that was Joe Bugner who that same year lost to MARVIS FRAZIER. And Joe Bugner was all fat, he started his career at 200 lbs...he was in his prime at 210...he weighed 245 lbs for Shavers.

So how the hell do you, with any rationale think Shavers would beat a Klitschko. These arent great big men he was losing to either, eh couldnt handle guys over 215...let alone 250 of muscle.

              - He is unbeatable.

              - He has dominated every opponent he has ever faced.

              - Has never been behind on the scorecards.

              - Has great defense and an iron chin, never been down.

              - 38 KOs in 41 wins, greatest heavyweight champ KO% of all time.

              - Only man ever to be world heavyweight champ in boxing and kickboxing.

It's a shame that injuries/4 year layoff robbed him of a stronger resume. If Vitali didn't get injured, he would've dominated the HW division from 2005-2008 and his resume would've been much stronger today, maybe on par with Wlad's great resume.

Vitali is almost 40 now, came back after the 4 year layoff and is still dominating the HW division. He hasn't lost a single round in his comeback.

You posted the other day that Sanders won round 1 of their fight, that means he has been behind on the scorecards.

Vitali has never been behind on the scorecards at the end of a fight.

You're a big fan steely, we get it.

Seriously though we haven't seen the K Bros come back from serious defeats and avenge losses so their heart has not been tested by this flabby division.

And thats what make a champ great, people talk about zeros etc but Ray Robinson, Muhammad Ali, George Foreman, Sugar Ray Leonard, Lennox Lewis, all made great comebacks after bad losses.

It brings out character and seperates great champions who show heart and desire from winners.

Its what would be needed to compete in that era and its what hasn't been tested with both brothers. Only to some extent wioth Vitali, but even he never got to avenge his loss.

We don't know if Wlad would crumble like Frazier, collapse like Foreman after a loss or be like Ali and keep his eyes on the prize.
