By Jake Donovan - Super bantamweight contender Rendall Munroe returns to the ring on Saturday, April 9, it was announced on Tuesday morning.
Perhaps the UK’s most famous binman, Munroe (21-2, 9KO) will fight in an eight-round bout against an opponent to be determined at Houghton-le-Spring’s Rainton Meadows Arena.
The bout marks his first since coming up short in his failed title bid last October against super bantamweight champion Toshiaki Nishioka. Munroe traveled to the champion’s native Japan, fighting outside of the United Kingdom for the first time in his career. [Click Here To Read More]
