Vitali Klitschko Is So Amazing He No Longer Requires Any Defense

I was watching Vitali vs. Hide earlier tonight and I came to this conclusion. In 99 when Vitali fought Hide, he had a fairly orthodox style. He kept his hands up, especially his right, his left moved between his waste and shoulders, but it was fairly orthodox. Watching vitali over the years his hands keep getting lower and in the Briggs fight he kept his right at waste level, his left below his waste unless firing it, literally he stands there in front of a puncher like Briggs, with fairly good size and reach, with hands completely down below his waste and he doesnt get hit. Guys try to counter him, but he just leans back and seems to have some sort of 6th sense in knowing what his opponents will do. He is the most in shape 39 year old, with tons of experience, he is also well studied in the sport and for every fight. I think right now he is the best he has ever been at avoiding getting hit and its too the point where he requires almost no clinches and no defense. The advantage this gives is beyond dodging punches, but Vitali saves energy not having his hands up, he also can protect his body better, but it also allows him to throw punches from countless of angles that most boxers would not be able to properly train for. I mean seriously, how many fighters could get in the ring with guys with 75% KO%'s + and stand there with their hands down right in front of them and never get knocked down...you guessed it nobody.

Im a fan of Wlad too, and Wlad is the better athlete, the bigger puncher, but I think this 6th sense of Vitali is something Wlad lacks and this unorthodox style to me is unique and would cause anyone in history a ton of problems. I mean Vitali Klitschko would make big George Foreman look like little george foreman and Vitali has more angles to punch from with his style, he has better stamina and brains than Foreman ever had, this current Vitali pushing 40 would have beat the Ali Foreman fought with such ease its hilarious. You know why Ali didnt stand toe to toe with Foreman...because he couldnt. Vitali is bigger, stronger, and meaner, he's smarter, and he has more endurance, but also he'd be throwing from more angles and he does what Foreman didnt do in Zaire...HE USES DISTANCE AND BACKS AWAY FROM COUNTERS. He alsow ouldnt let Ali push down on the back of his head.

Its almost like he's bored now, or he just respects no one else, I wonder if when he spars with Wlad if he keeps his guard down at all times? He knows whats coming at all times and if he has a weakness its in the clinch where he often doesnt tie up his opponent quick enough...thats really about it.

Heavyweights have got worse and Briggs injured his arm in round 2 so wasn't much of a threat.

Vitali just hasn't faced anyone with any kind of speed. He could not fight with his hands down against a fighter as fast as Haye. Some of you guys seem to be in love with these guys just because they are white. In reality, they are not that good and they are owned in nearly every poll for a reason.

You make it sound that he would have been a threat without an injured arm Briggs got knocked the *** out by Lewis years and years ago.. the win meant nothing for Vit.. his resume is horrible

I wonder what polls would have said for Douglas over Tyson..99-1? Polls just expose mindless sheep. I dont vote in them cause who cares, 100,000 morons on the ****** forum can claim 2+2=Cow, but that doesnt mean its true. The speedy guys tend to not have the power nor the chin to keepVitali honest, a preprime Vit destroyed Hide in two and Hide was pretty damn fast.

100% prime, onefight before the layoff in 1967 Ali couldnt knock out a past prime Ernie Terrell, who lost 3 times that year, in 15 rounds that Cleveland Williams (before being the gut shot cripple Ali beat) KO'ed 5 years before in 7 rounds. What a fraud Ali is.

His comeback has been one masterclass of domination after another and why Haye gets a squeaky bum at even the mention of the name, Vitali. I also think he'd currently match up against any past HW, prime Tyson included.

it probably helps when these are your opponents

sam peter-253 pounds-nearly collapsed of fatigue during the ring walk

                    chris arreola-251 pounds-blob

kevin johnson-242 pounds-why does a guy who's supposed to have a slick style weigh more than a house?

albert sosnowski-224 pounds-sosnowki came in good shape but unfortunately he knew nothing about boxing and when they put the gloves on he called them mittens

shannon briggs-262 pounds-fat blimp who couldn't cut it in the 90s.

keep in mind great heavyweights who were just as tall like foreman, norton, holyfield and holmes weighed around 215 pounds give or take a little. these guys just suck and aren't even in fighting shape.
