People are fools for sleeping on this one. I think both of these guys have what it takes to be beltholders at Light Heavyweight, and it's a little strange that they will meet this early. I initially was leaning towards Despaigne in this one, thinking he could outbox Sillakh over the distance. But now, I think Sillakh will get the KO. Despaigne is a step behind most professional Cubans on defense, and his power is below average. Even his boxing skills are just fair. I don't think he has enough to keep Sillakh off of him, and we all know what type of power dude possesses. Despaigne will still be a force in the division (it's not in the best of shape), but he's going down in this one.
ive been impressed with sillakh, havent really seen enough of the cuban as a pro to make a fair call though. but what ive seen from him as an amateur is impressive and his credentials there speak for themselfs. cant wait for this fight, its very rare to see two prospects this good face of so early in their respective careers.
