Well they are really behind Alvarez and JCC Jr for obvious reasons. These 2 guys have big backing and are being manufactured as the future stars for Mexico and boxing. In terms of being corrupt, they just have to give these guys their titles on a plate. If the WBC didn't do that it would be acting way out of character

The WBC is mesican owned, so they give all them people the easy ways to win belts!! Have you ever heard of "If you own it, you control it"... thats whats been happening with the WBC for years!

Not just WBC, WBA has come up with the Super World title and Unified World title aside from there Regular world title... is this WWE? Expect WBO/IBF to come up with King of the ring title or something.

Everyone knows they're corrupt and biased, but what fires me up is Sulaiman pushing his bad English on us with his inept and grammatically ludricrous press releases and statements. The guy refuses to hire a translator and/or editor when he puts communications out there, making the WBC org. seem even more incapable and unwilling to understand their unacceptable mgmt.

Arum, just like JCC Jr's previous handlers, have protected his ass because he has name value that draws fans and the WBC has been dying to put a strap on him. Shamelessly ducked Martinez at 154, and now is in position to fight for Martinez's 160 belt without fighting Martinez.

Canelo is 20 with 35 fights. He's been fighting and looking to face a champion in whatever division, 147 or 154, that will fight him. He has by no means been in deep competition, but at 20 he's already faced more names than Jcc Jr.

The two guys are both overhyped for their accomplishments, but i dont think theyre anything alike.

I don't like as much as you do and this is coming from a Mexican American.

Both Alverez and Chavez Jr. don't deserve a title shot. WBC is making themselves look bad.

It's obvious the WBC favors Canelo Alvares, JCC jr and other Mexican fighters. By handing these fighters titles it just makes there organzation look bad. The WBA is out of hand when it comes to awarding titles to fighters. The WBA's title count as of March 1st is 33 titlest per 17 divisions including super champions unified champions regular titleholder and interim titleholder.

What boxing needs is one commisioner to bring back some order to the sport. If there wasn't so many so called champions it wouldn't be so confusing as to who the real champion is and the sport would most likely gain more fans that would follow boxing if there actually understood who the champion is without having to explain all the crap of how the WBA and the WBC runs there organzations.

It would be great if there was one champion for every divisions and what would also make boxing a better sport if there weren't 17 division if boxing could cut the division down to around 12 to 14 divisions I think it would create more competiton within each division more often.

It would be nice if there was actually a way to get rid of these alphabet bandits once and for all
