Now that they want Alvarez to have it, so theyll give him the advantage by making Hatton fight all the way up at 154. Alvarez is used to 150 and in the process of moving up to a full blown super-welter, so this favors him.

Someone needs to slit the WBC officials throats. Corrupt ****s.
Someone needs to slit the ibf officials throat also for approving zavek
last opponent.Does zavek plan to take a challenge?

I think Hatton coming up to 150 was definitely required of him to face Canelo, but the extra 4 pounds will definitely favor Alvarez, who's younger and won't be sluggish with a few extra pounds. Do you disagree?

Ask your boy Canelo; he's the one that wasn't interested in fighting Zavec when he found out he was going to have to fight him in Slovenia.

Unlike Zavec, who knocked the champ out in Africa to win his title.

        Just sayin'

Saul is looking to be a WW

All that JCC crap is just for show.

That 4 pounds wont matter at all as Saul is already close to a 10-1 favorite. He wont come in any different whether the fight is at 150 or 154. Either way the correct weight is 154

Nah, this is some bull****. I hate catchweight fights more than anybody, but you don't pull this on fight week. Hatton has previously stated that 150 is higher than he would desire to fight at, but he'd do it just for the opportunity. They should just give Alvarez the belt without the theatrics.

First off, for those wondering, I don't think it has anything to do with Manny. They probably figure the extra 4 pounds would favor the naturally bigger man, in Alvarez. On top of that, the weigh in could be in the afternoon, the day before, giving Alvarez even more time to rehydrate. But Hatton has gone up as high as 157 in 2002 and made several appearances around 150 in the following years, still I consider him the smaller man.

Whatever. Let Martinez fight both of these shams for HIS title in the same night.

                    THIS.

I'm not knocking Canelo, but MAN am I tired of these fighters getting to fight for Martinez's belts when Martinez himself can't find an opponent.
