Weight means **** with this issue. If it really was, people would've been crying about that in 2008 right after he beat DLH. Instead, they kept commenting on how washed up and drained Oscar was.

Marquez would have done the same thing to that Oscar that fought Manny.

Why does Roger voluntarily embarrass himself in almost every interview he gives?

He's unaware that he's embarrassing himself, which makes it that much worse.

The Mayweather clan make the average uneducated crackhead look like Noam Chomsky!

What we need to realise is Roger is used to his neice..sorry nephew weighing in at welter but refusing to fight a welter in their prime (or more than one welter in 4 years) He see's him go the distance with JMM (a natural lightweight)although Floyd has weight cheated and come in heavy he still cant KO him. He has seen him go 10 rounds with Hatton (a boxer who in his only outing at WW looked awful, what does Floyd do?Makes him come up to WW) before he Ko'd him,he has seen Floyd struggle to KO anyone that is in his weight division when Floyd is on xylocaine and figures "If my juiced up nephew cant KO a midget then how can Pac possibly beat someone his own weight or bigger?" He then comes up with an expletive filled rant as this is as diplomatic as his drugged up brain allows him to be.

Pacquiao weighed in at 142 for that fight, a twelve pound jump. He also didn't exhibit extraordinary power at 147--he beat De La Hoya by pure speed and accumulation of punches. De La Hoya himself said after the fight that Pacquiao didn't hit very hard, but he just kept coming. Much later, De La Hoya changed his tune (in support of the allegations raised by the Mayweathers) but he completely downplayed Pacquiao's power after the fight.

What is remarkable is that Pacquiao hasn't displayed great power at 147. He showed great power at 140, KOing Hatton. But at 147 it has been good but not great. Mosley, in his prime, had much better 1 punch power at 147, so did De La Hoya. De La Hoya fought at 130, Mosley at 135. With the exception of Margarito, I think every fighter Pacquiao has fought at 147 and above hit harder than him. Clottey, De La Hoya, Cotto all hit harder.
