      Vitali DESTROYED Sanders

yes he did bust his ass but at the same time Sanders said before the lil brother fight that that was his last fight. i think he got pressured into the fight with big brother. he wasn't in shape and was only there for a check. Sanders lost the fight before it even got signed. he didn't have a fighter mentality going into it. you know it, i know it andthe rest of boxingscene knows it

The greatest Clay clinched far more than Wlad did in even his clinchiest fight (vs Peter I).

You are a hater and ignorant of boxing history.

Who said im a Ali fan??? A prime Ali was great to watch because of his footwork, not a fan of Ali after his comeback.

Btw I find Wlads old fights also entertaining. I hate his fights after he teamed up with Steward.

This version of Wlad destroys Sanders. Just look at how much trouble he had against Sam Peter in '05, versus the last time he fought Peter. Wlad is a much more disciplined fighter, and would simply win from the outside, no questions asked. It might be an ugly fight, like the Ibragimov fight, but he would win almost every round.

Sam Peter believed he could beat WK the first time they fought. The second time he had no confidence thats why he lost so badly

He wasn't ready and he knew it. Lewis didn't immediately rematch McCall either, he waited until Steward had successfully changed his style and improved his ability to fight tall and work behind the jab. The Wlad Klitschko situation was exactly analogous to that, even down to the same trainer, except that by the time Wlad had finally improved enough under Steward's tutelage to cope with Sanders' style, Sanders had retired.

Today's Klitschko would easily beat Sanders, but up to 2006, he'd have lost again, and between 2006 and 2008 it would have been a pick 'em fight.
