To be honest, I don't think he was hurt by Pac that badly. It's not like Pac landed a perfect left or something. It was a barrage of punches and I thought Velazquez took a knee to get a little breather.

After the ref stopped the fight, I was like WTF, Velazquez don't even look dizzy at all. But I guess him not complaining to the ref that it was a premature stoppage shows that he may have just quit.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

To be honest, I think Velazquez wanted to quit, he knew he was outclassed. He got up cuz he's mexican...and the man got heart. I got respect for him, he got up after 6 rounds of being outclassed.

If you look at the stoppage Velazquez wasn't protesting the stoppage he just walked to his corner...He was going to quit anyways I think.

mga pinoys, we've seen the fight live (how many times do i have to post this), happy_man and i had a great time together w/ the 1000+ people who gathered at megamall cinemas!! man, it was a great experience (uulitin ko kasi masaya). if velasquez hadn't quit and the ref allowed him to fight, it would be disaster for him. have you seen contreras in the audience, that's whats gonna happen to him.
