    roger isn't a legendary trainer.

should've taught the guy the vaulted shoulder-roll defense

The ref was telling him to walk foward but he didn't responded. The ref should have just grabbed his gloves and wipe it for him without his consent like what that one ref did to Montiel LOL.

that kid was falling all over the ring anyhow

did you see how badly he missed his first punch?
he didn't look like he was expecting a guy who was a decent fighter across the ring

and he made the same mistake of leaning too far forward
        and BOOM

dont think he's going to be a world champion anytime soon

it wasnt like that was a fluke
dude got knocked out in one round with a well timed punch by a guy who doesnt even have fifteen fights

Fast hands and a glass jaw.....Wait a minute that sounds like another boxer I've heard of.

not for nothing but let's actually look at the comments rather than who said them

in what I see I do not see anything that was technically wrong if anyone had seen Savage you would know is that he has grown in skills and indeed has fast handspeed, pretty above average for a guy his size. I see a trainer who has confidence in his fighter, who wouldn't want that?

and Roger didn't boast or brag in fact, he never guaranteed Savage would be world champion only the ability to be one.

                he got caught, it happens

lol s**t happens. I've seen quite a few of Roach's young Filipino prospects get KTFO within 3 rounds. Some fighters just don't have "it", others catch the wrong fighter at the wrong time, some guys just get caught and then there's the ones who walk into shots ******ly because of their inexperience. Take your pick on which category this falls under, but regardless Roger's still a good trainer and you can't hold him responsible for that.
