P4P, Naseem Hamed is the GOAT

Nobody, and I mean nobody, entertained like this kid. From his interviews to his rings walks to his showboating when the names were being announced to what he did in the ring. He made fights against complete bums, not just appear to be a fight, but an event.

He had the complete package and nobody did it quite like him. Its just too bad that he gave up on his boxing life after only 1 loss against an all time great.

Heres to Hamed, the GOAT entertainer in boxing.

I'm a big fan of Naz. He had something special that unpredictability and swagger that comes with youth, confidence and total self belief. He was changed by the Barrera fight... I actually didn't think he lost that badly, he was just up against a prime ATG, it's still a great fight to watch. Barerra was all over him, Naz wasn't able to do any of his tricks, he was reduced to 'conventional' boxing and consequently got beat.

He retired at the right time, because he had already slackened off from training and was way too rich to have the hunger and determination that an up-and-comer has.

He's definitely an ATG, but not GOAT, that's Ray Robinson in my books.

As far as entertainment goes Hamed was entertaining. No argument here.

              Perhaps?

Name one better. One who entertained all the way from the ring walk to the after fight interview.

As an entertainer. That's what the thread is about.

Manny Pacquiao and Emanuel Augustus are both more entertaining in the ring than Hamed.
