IBO cruiserweight champion Danny Green, who seven weeks ago had emergency surgery to remove his appendix, will return to boxing on April 15 to promote a card at the WA Basketball Centre. Green has yet to make a decision on the future of his boxing career. He promotes the card under his company, Green Machine Boxing Promotions, and the event will feature heavyweight Pieter Cronje, former Contender Australia contestant Victor Oganov, lightweight prospect Matt Garlett and welterweight Steve Wills. Green last bout was a twelve round decision win over BJ Flores in November.
