Not only did Pacquiao destroy De la hoya in the ring but hes gonna destroy his business outside the ring. Marquez and Bradley are as good as gone. Mosley already left. Bhop has 1 maybe 2 fights left and neither of them will make any money.

Pacquiao runs boxing and Golden Girls Promotions will go the way of the Dodo bird.

Ys he should have shut his mouth. Just the other day he called Arum "a senile old man".

Arum thinks rings around Oscar and theya re not even remotely close to comparable intellectual levels. I presume that this is where Arum's ***ish heritage "kicks in", although I suppose that Oscar would do the same thing if HE HAD manny P..........that is

          If he thought of it.

Now, we have to think outside the box; we have to think like the NBA and MLB and have one commission and one major promoter in the sport.

That's one of the reasons I commend UFC for what they have done in such a short period of time; they are the only real player in their category, the mixed martial arts world. They have been able to organize themselves, have all the TV dates, a pay-per-view every month; that's why they are valued at more than $1 billion. They are doing the right thing, and it's time for boxing to do the right thing, as long as we don't have those obstacles named Don King and Bob Arum.

Absolutely. We need to sign all the talent and get all the TV dates; then you can have your own agenda and have a schedule for the fans and the sport. You can do a monthly PPV, a bi-weekly HBO fight, you can have the best fighters fight each other. When you have five or six promoters, it's very difficult."

But he now claims he's in the boxing business while Arum is in the Top Rank business but only because Bob outmaneuvered him and launched a preemptive strike. Bet he'll say he was 'misquoted' again
Yes, I picked up immediately on Oscar's slip-up with him being in the "boxing business" and Arum being in the TOP RANK, meaning that Arum is actually the top rank of the boxing business, and Oscar is an "also ran".

            Freudian subconscious suggestion

For a moment there, GBP succeeded in getting exclusive TV rights from HBO, until he ran out of good boxers and failed to deliver. It was foolish on HBO's part to put there eggs in one basket, now Bob Arum is biting back, and hard...

                  i dunno man.

rios may have youth, size and determination, but that marquez CAN take several punches, kiss the canvas multiple times, and STILL get back up and give as much as he takes.

i'd say rios 51% marquez 49% in this case.

rios DID win with a broken hand and that there shows the kid is tough and has determination. we'll still have to see if it is enough to overcome marquez' ring savvy and toughness (though most likely it has diminished by now).

                    Getting disgusted with Golden Boy.

They blame Arum for them not being able to work together, while at the same time have a lawsuit recently filed against Top Rank dis*****g the money they got from Pac's fights, when they don't deserve a cent from a fighter they don't promote and helped to slander as a drug cheat. Yeah, that's gonna help the sport.

Now Schaefer is crying about suing Top Rank over Marquez. Bunch of whiney clowns. Arum is getting it done and these guys are bitter they aren't getting any of the action due to their own ******ity in the Pac-Mayweather negotiations. Hope they are run into the ground. Better Top Rank monopolizing the sport than these guys who try to make bull**** title fights like Alvarez-Hatton, Ortiz-Berto and Morales-Maidana.

Marquez is making the right decision. Atleast you know Arum will get Marquez v Rios/Soto/Pacquiao done
