    what now for acosta?

I don't know about you but I was impressed by Acosta's performance despite the fact he got knocked out. I haven't seen much of him except for his fight with Antillon. He has good power for a slick boxer and uses the ring extremely well. He failed to stick to his game plan and tie up Rios when he should have. Rios obviously broke him down with the pressure he was putting on, but my question is what is Acosta's options now. I really hope he's alright, I know he went to the hospital but I haven't seen anything new about his injuries. Hopefully he can recover give us some good fights.

That was a very tough fight for Acosta. He should take off six months before he fights again.

that probably wouldn't hurt. its obvious that he's naturally talented. the translator was awful and it was hard to hear what the corner was telling him. but i thought i heard his trainer telling him to tie rios up, but he kept trading with him on the ropes and in the corner.

in the future, acosta needs to stay the **** away from rios.

He may never be the same.

Hopefully, for him, he's made a little money and will be able to live a productive life. However, if he fights for a little bit more, he still has a shot against some of the other 135 pounders. He could beat Soto or Marquez, depending on game plans.

At the very least, he could take on Sotto and get his footing back.

Nonetheless, I hope he's safe and is able to recover.

He may not recover. It was his biggest fight which for 4 rounds he dominated every minute and he still got knocked out. I think he'll take a long break and decide. Oh, and all his losses have been by KO if I heard correctly. It makes a big difference.
