I'm not saying I don't think Valero was a tough fighter because he was. But watching Rios pummel a better fighter in Acosta makes me wonder how a fight between Rios and Valero would've played out. It would've been a war. Damn. Probably wouldn't be happening now though because Valero would be up at 140 seeking bigger name opponents if he was still alive. Still a fight to put cream in your pants regardless.
Don't know 'bout you guys, but Valero's win over Demarco seems less impressive to me.

I was thinking the same thing. If he couldn't KO that guy (and he didn't, Demarco quit), he never would have KO'd any real opposition.Comment

Valero died way before he even began scratching the surface of his peak. He would've destroyed Rios easily. Rios and Acosta are both bums and the weakest fighters at 140. Rios would lose badly to any of the top 140ers.Comment
