If you guys watch the replay, it's very visible that Cortez is behind Rios, I

know Cortez has his follies sometimes, but at the angle he was in at the

time, there's no human being on the planet that could've seen that.

Cortez is ridiculously inconsistent. He never allows in-fighting during some bouts, constantly meddling. Then he was asleep at the switch last night on Acosta's third knockdown.

Joltin' Joe needs to add one more adjective to his "fair but firm" mantra: Incompetent.

How he earned a spot in Canastota is beyond me.

Acosta was seriously out of it and Cortez let Rios hit him with, at least 2-3, powerful and unnecessary punches. What makes things even worse, was that he didn't stop the fight after that. He was about to do a count when he saw Acosta's corner jumping in and stopping the fight.

That was not impressive and he put Acosta in a dangerous position.

Speaking of people who should quit, what the hell was Elie Seckbach thinking when he scored the fight? That was not even funny.
Cortez was way outta position,he was looking to jump in and do some big time kinda stop and was behind Rios..He should have been in the corner watching the fight..Poor job by Cortez once again, and very dangerous I might add..

But he was outta position because he was trying to make some dramatic kind of stop..He should have had his ass right in the corner were the action was taken place..

I don't agree with you here bro..Although Acosta was up he was out while layed on the ropes, very very dangerous bro..Those last few punches were very dangerous and can be the deference between life and death at times..
