Yea I think it was the end of the 2nd or 3rd round. The kid is resilient.

Would love to see rios vs marquez or maidana

Yeah I've been praising/hyping up Garcia for over a year. Dude is defiantly one of the most underrated trainers in boxing and it's only a matter of time before he is universally accepted as one of the best in the business.

I love the way Garcia put Rios in check in the corner after the 2nd or 3rd round when Rios got momentarily hurt.

Something along the lines of "Don't go all crazy on this guy, hes a World Champion".

Rios was getting a little careless when acosta caught him with some good shots.

Yea he told him to relax and said "It's not going to be easy, this guy is a world champ"

Rios is a confident kid and fights that way. He knows he stronger than most of his opponents and he tried to overwhelm them to fast.

Garcia is great, couldn't happen to a better guy. He does a lot for that area.

Just for the record in Spanish he also told him something like:

"Con calma, ya le vamos a caer ensima a este cabron"

It means, "Calm down, we are going to get on top of this mother***er soon enough"

                hehe

He is a good trainer and on a winning streak, but it's had to imagine a trainer teaching fighters like Margarito and Rios to have strength, punch hard and take alot of punches.

I know it's very early... But he's got trainer of the year all to himself.
