Everytime he would try to clinch Rios would push him offend hit him with some thudding shots.....
Also, Acosta hit Rios with a lot of punches behind the head early in the fight when they were in the clinch....Comment

And what he doesn't understand I'd Rios wore him down so much that he didn't have the strength to hold Rios late in the fight.....

Right!!!!! Acosta showed in the begining of the fight that he was stronger than Rios initially. But Rios became stronger as the fight wore on, due to the body work, and Acosta not being conditioned to clinch and move so often. I agree with the blatent rabbit punches. I was surprised that Joe didnt give him a hard warning for them.Comment

I swear you never know what Cortez will show up..Is it gonna be the Joe that is for boxers letting them clinch and hold all night long and quickly breaking umm when the boxer becomes tired(so the pressure fighter can't do any work inside)??Or the Joe that lets umm work on the inside, which is the better ref for a pressure fighter..You never know, but what I do know is that Joe needs to hang umm up..He was way outta position at the end of that fight,he should have been in that corner seeing the action instead of behind Rios back looking to make some dramatic impact on the fight..Acosta took some shots he really should not have taken in there..Clean too..Comment
