Rios is just mini-Margarito but he beats JMM easy.
You're out of your mind man. Marquez is an all time great. Rios isn't even gonna be lineal champ, let alone a legend.

JMM would have Rios pissing blood. The body shots are what would soften him up. Then the combinations would KO him.

I think it would make for a classic... I think Rios might drop Marquez.. But Marquez would rip Bam Bam with counters all night.. Probably a minimum of 3 cuts altogether in this fight.. This would play out alot like JMM vs Juan Diaz 1 I think. Lots of blood, even more heart.. lets make it. No question this fight could be big. I think in California, Texas, or Mexico it would be huge.

Everyone will pick JMM. Then, when Rios knocks him out,

"JMM was way past his prime and almost 40".

I'm saying it now, Rios knocks his ass out. Michael f ucking Katsidis put Manuel on his a ss. Brandon, who has much heavier hands with speed, a larger output, and better chin,

knocks Marquez out. Everyone will point out Marquez counter punching abilities, which imo, are overrated anyway, seeing as how he has been tagged quite often by his 135 pound opposition, but, he won't be countering as much when hes getting bombed to the body and head repeatedly because he'll be picking himself up from the canvas.

Marquez probably hits as hard as Acosta and puts his punches together alot better, Marquez stops him.

Hmmm this is an awesome fight and one that needs to happen for the LW division. Seems like most people think Marquez pwns Rios. I don't think that at all. Marquez is getting on in age now..........Rios will give him hell. I might lean towards Rios

I wouldn't be so quick to count Rios out. Of course JMM has more skills and experience, but its guys like Rios that finally beat great older fighters like Marquez.

                  Segura/Calderon comes to mind.

Pre fight, "Calderon is going to outbox him and make him look silly because he has better technique and skill and Segura just comes in and throws punches".

Post fight, "Calderon is past his prime".
