    yep, decent, not great

there's good fights to be made...
you guys are sleeping on guerrero. He like rios is huge for the division and has a great chin to along with good boxing skills and power. When marquez moves up it will be them two with soto battling out for supremacy at light weight.

      Like Ortiz.
linares and ortiz are close to the same...

linares been highly touted for ages... but rios just recently made noise and blew up....

maybe TR is just a better promoter and matchmaker than GBP and tekken... probably linares is a bust.

        Are you talking strictly marketability?

Because if you are talking in terms of their in ring performance, then Linares and Ortiz are not even close.

guerrero quit against yordan... he'll never get respect from me unless he redeems himself in a big way like beating jmm.

nah.. it's not just marketability... lots of people said linares was gonna be the next great... I even had high hopes for linares, but he's a bust.

this coming from someone that once believed in him.

The we will have to agree to disagree here, as I have not seen a big drop off in skills.

not saying his skill dropped... just that he hasn't stepped up in competition and it's disappointing and probably because he isn't a great to begin with.

I don't consider if a guy is marketable or not.

I go by performance. And, so far is to early to consider him a bust.

Would he ever be star? I don't know and I don't really care TBH. But, could he turn out to be a damn good fighter maybe P4P level still? Who knows maybe is to early to tell.

He's only 25 and hasn't taken any real punishment yet. Now would it translate on him being a box office star i could careless...is the in ring performance that I judge.
