Are you kidding? Rios Displayed alot of heart,tenacity,will, that will make him a sure fire contender and possible multi time champion for years to come.

Though I admit he does get hit way to much which is one of his faults along with his inability to fight backwards but he makes up for that with a strong chin and that wonderful left hook and body combinations that wore down a very game Acosta.

Before the fight I thought that perhaps Acosta would be a little to much for Rios
given his counter punching ability and 19 fight win streak over quality opposition.
But wow did Rios ever step it up and provided one of the early contenders for fight of the year.

Kudos to Robert Garcia since now in two consecutive weeks he has guided both Donaire and Rios to huge victories, his passion was on full on display for both fights and he is on his way to becoming a big time trainer.

It is way too early to gauge how far rios can go but it will be fun to watch.

Acosta is a great underated fighter, and Rios just knocked him clear the **** out. Id say he is champion material.
