Yeah me too. But it seems the way to fight Pacquiao is to jump on Top Rank. Marquez could sign with Top Rank, fight Soto or Rios and then jump to fight Pacquiao in November. The Rios/Soto fight would make sense. It's a Mexican rivalry, two guys who would be coming off exciting wins (I think Soto beats Antillon the same way again) but who really don't have a shot to beat Marquez. Then, Marquez wins and gets the in-house fight with Pacquiao he's been looking for.

Yeah, I guess that's possible.

I also see Soto winning again. Antillon basically fought his fight the last time around, it made for an exciting fight, although one I thought he clearly lost. I doubt he capable of improving drastically before the rematch.

TBH, the fight I'd love to see at 135 is JMM-Linares.

Rios has no footwork, no hand speed, no head movement, just a pressure fighter and some chin beat the guy who can really move better, has nice job and faster handspeed.

so dont believe with technical ability always superior in boxing. Rios only has some power and a chin. what more if Rios had HAND SPEED, FOOTWORK, COMBINATION, GREAT CHIN? he would be a beast.

rios also has the size advantage. he blows up 15 pounds........just saying.....I'm looking forward to his next bout though, because he's exciting.

as long as they were the same weight on the weigh in though! thats all it matters. happens in every boxing match. the other guy always outweigh the other one.

He has the same type of defense abraham has, they hold their hands high and that reduces the impact of the blows, that seems like a type of defense to me.

Rios didn't look all too good against Loewther and his style, and Loewther was basically using Acosta's style. And Acosta is even better at it.

I expect Acosta to give Rios a ton of problems with his lateral movement, counter punching, speed, and power, and win the first half, but Rios is just a beast and will keep coming until Acosta folds.

Acosta will eventually have to stop moving and that's when Rios will let his hands go. His accuracy reminds me of Cotto and his combinations are very good, he seemingly always finds an opening when you stand in front of him.

I expect Rios to come out the winner and have Acosta in serious trouble late.

He does, but he doesn't have to worry about it (Acosta's uppercut) much. Antillon is a sucker for that uppercut, Rios isn't. Rios needs to watch for that overhand right and left hook because they're going to land.
