Rios reminds me of J Tapia. He has a tough one tonight against Acosta. Tapia pulled off the big ones can Rios? Watch on Showtime! #boxing

Talking strictly BOXING, anyone who can be compared in ANY way with Johnny Tapia must be damned good, because Tapia, although often forgotten, was one of the very best, well up there with the top all time guys in his weight class.

        Tapia was on another level.

About the only thing they have in common is there love for tattoos.

Tapia would straight up push you before a fight.

Rios has more power (P4P), but Tapia had a big edge in skills.

            Tapia fought how he lived.

            Like a crazy man.

Never seen a guy so pumped up by the crowd.

No way Tapia was way better than Rios skill wise, but Rios has heart just like Tapia!!!

Jury's still out on that one.

Rios has yet to have it tested.

                We might find out tonight.

Yeah, Tapia and Aaron Pryor both had that intensity.
