The random KO factor is no where as intrusive as UFC Undisputed, you could be smashing some guy to peices, and as soon as he throws one punch in an exchange it could be all over.

But 1 problem is if you get rocked then when you're stunned you have very little health to stay on your feet with, which can be annoying since most of the time the computer has near half to full whenever they're rocked.

The clinching in the game can be frustrating, most of the time it's half asked clinches your boxer intiates and fails leading to opennings for them, even if you try and time it right, but I guess online would be different than any NPC.

The framerate and input lag is improved upon than it was on the demo at least.

i noticed when you bob and weave or leap in with a punch, you are really likely to get straight ko'd

this game took some practice, it's harder then fight night round 4. I consider myself very good and it took me a couple days to get it down, the computer was whooping me at first. The game moves a whole lot faster then FN4 and the computer AI is really good, so it takes patience.
I don't play single player, I almost always go straight online LOL

then you'll probably find it a lot easier. Like I said I found the computer was often harder then most humans I fought.

Yeah, like I don't get the same rush playing a computer than a human. I was once top 100 in Fight Night 2004 but the series made a turn for the worse trying to be realistic they butchered the game honestly.

It use to be fun when I was 17 or whatever LOL but with each new title I played less and less...

Playing vs. the right people online who don't spam punches/exploit the game can be a good experience.

I guess I was lucky. I played the demo online a lot and I encountered only a couple of exploiters. Most of fights I had were not hard and every once in a while I'll face someone who picks his shots like I do and it would be a satisfying victory or loss.

I'm worried about getting it Tuesday because there is a legitimate chance that I won't go to class that day or the next. I absolutely cannot wait. Don't really care about the weak roster, CABs are my favorite part of the game.

although the ring is a little bit small, yall must suck at the game if you cant get away from the opponent. seriously. In fact its easier than ever to get away from the opponent, especially with the one guard=all change.

the punch variety is much improved. love the fact you can sneak punches through the opponents guard, and throw punches while at the same time moving your head. great dynamic. also I dig the hard straight punch modifiers. also they put more emphasis on stamina, which is GREAT.
                    I guess...

it's just that after PLaying NBA 2k11, and Gran Turismo, my bar for realism and accuracy has been set way high...

I don't know why EA can't put in the same amount of effort and work that those developers did.

I'm still waiting for the definitive game that does for boxing what 2K11 did for basketball...

a game where you just play it, as a boxing fan and you just go "wow.. this feels right.."

Plus the controls were too unresponsive

Don't get me wrong, it's fun to play and has some depth, but I want more if i'm gonna spend my 60.

It's a big improvement though from FN4 and hopefully the next one gets it right.

I remember some guys discussing the sliders.

Anyone know a good combo for make it play more like a sim?
