Liam Walsh is set to defend his Commonwealth super-featherweight title against Ashton’s Jon Kays at the Robin Park Arena, Wigan on March 19, Frank Warren promotes the contest. Walsh won the title by decisioning Maxwell Awuku last October. Kays picked up his first title, the International Masters super-featherweight title by halting Dai Davies in seven rounds back in September. It is a joint promotions between Frank Warren promotions and VIP promotions.
