He could get injured in training - as he did in December. The Chisora fight doesn't significantly increase his chances of being injured.

As for losing to Chisora, the chances of that are less than one in a million. And anyway, he could fight Chisora in July for the unified world title if Chisora really did win - that would be a massive fight in those circumstances. That could be specified in the contract.

Adamek has signed to fight one of the Klitschkos despite the fact that both are fighting other people first. There's no reason at all why Haye couldn't do the same. Fighters sign to fight other fighters who already have another fight booked first all the time. There are hundreds of examples of that.

It's not obvious to me that haye is his toughest challenge. Haye is a good HW to be sure, but he's not a harder fight for Wlad imo than Thompson or Ibragimov. Those two were stylistically tricky fights. Next to Wlad Haye is a technically flawed, weak-chinned smaller fighter with poor stamina. I think it's extremely likely that after a boring ten rounds or so with Wlad up 10-0 on all cards we get a corner stoppage. This is the most overhyped fight for an obvious mismatch I've seen since De La Hoya was fighting at lightweight

Just like the chance of him getting knocked out by Puritty or Sanders was one in a million, right?

Fighters sign to fight other fighters all the time sure, but what recent champion in any weight division, in recent years, not way back when, do you know that signed to fight someone else two months prior to the biggest fight of his career? I know you're probably going to say that Haye is not his biggest fight but who else is bigger right now?

What makes you think that this fight with Haye is "the biggest fight in his career" . You are ignotant of the fact that Klitschko has had over 50 fights, and at least half of them were as big or bigger than this piddly little "possible" encounter with almost helpless David Haye.

AND.................probably 25% or more of klitschko's opponents were/are capable of beating Haye. It's really only a "big" fight in a PR sense, not a skill or matching talents sense.

I will be very surprised if the fight doesn't end with Haye stretched level on the canvas, probably from an otherwise quite ordinary punch.

Who has Wlad fought that was considered a real test for him? Who has he fought that the public was as interested in as his fight with Haye? Who has he fought that will bring him more money than Haye?

Put your money where your mouth is if you're that crazy about your guy and believe that Haye is helpless, if Wlad ever accepts this fight. 200K on Haye, what do you say?

The problem with your statement is that Eddie would be the biggest fight of Haye's life. Up to this point Haye has done nothing to prove otherwise.

As for Chisora's fight, how do we know that options such as "pay off" or precedence of unification fight are not included in the contract?

People here are confusing biggest fight with best opponent. Haye would be the biggest fight in Wladimir's career thus far.

Was Mayweather the best opponent in De La Hoya's career? That's subjective, but it didn't matter, it was the biggest fight of his career.

Haye might not be the most skilled, but he's definitely the most talented opponent Wladimir has ever faced in his career. Wladimir himself would admit that it's the biggest fight of their careers if the fight goes through.
