He was walking away from a bad deal in 09. He would be walking away from a 50/50 deal with no rematch clause now, and that's 50% of about $40 million, reportedly. Plus his credibility would be completely shot even with his nuthugging UK fan base if he pulled out this time. He won't do that. And he'll give all he's got in the ring, too - his pride won't let him do anything else. He will be beaten up though - but he'll have his moments. Mark my words.

The fight has essentially been agreed to, but there still are some details to be worked out. That's why it hasn't been announced yet.

Either way, if those details can or cannot be agreed to, we'll know by early next week.

Haye's last twitter feed still reads (with appalling grammar!):

"Does some well overdue Klit licking potentially being on the horizon be something you may be interested in....??? "

I doubt you'll hear anything more before Monday at the earliest.

it's all sounding very promising, we can but hope.

Haye needs this fight, his reputation will be much better for fighting and losing to Wladimir than it would be should he never fight him at all. They both need this fight, but especially Haye.
