It's ****** to hate a fighter because of annoying, nationalistic fans. As long as the boxer is skillful, talented, and fights legitimate opponents then I'll be a fan and I don't mind if he gathers up racist fans.

i hear a lot of talk about nonito possibly eclipsing pac in terms of achievement in the forseeable future.

this is highly debatable.

what isn't debatable is the fact that nonito seems to be(at least for now) garnering universal acclaim among an overwhelming majority of posters on this site, including *****s and known pac/pinoy bashers alike.

i always believed that the pac hate was generally directed towards the *******s and if they weren't as fanatic as they've exhibited on this site, there would have been a lot less pac bashing which may have resulted in a more tolerable nsb.

in the absence of obvious nonito fanboyism(so far), i believe ppl are being very objective and actually accepting of the fact that they are witness to a great fighter.

ppl, and i mean everyone not named xcaret and m.i.c., openly proclaim nonito as a great fighter and there was even a thread about ppl wanting to claim him as their own.

so my question is, is the unwillingness to accept pac as a great fighter a direct result of *******ation?

Im a pinoy fan hater.

I don't like how everyone is proclaiming him to be the best all of a sudden. People in another thread saying he's better then RJJ. **** is sickening. I like Donaire, but you Pinoy fans sure make it hard to stay that way. Only reason I don't like pac is the fans.

We dont care if you do or you dont.... but remember where the hate came from? its the mudslinging that came from haters that say theres no such thing as a good guy in boxing.... and they hate it when they are proven wrong.

2. for people who act that way, ask them what they think about Tito, Mike and if they say they 'love those guys' then its obvious they haven't been on the forums that long because those fanbases where JUST as rabid

for example, when pac wasn't in trollweather's division, maytroller was a fan of pac's... and so were *****s.

i dont think anyone really hates pacquiao, people just hate his fans. i sometimes get aggravated at the ignorance of some paclovers, ill admit it, but i dont hate pac, i actually root and bet on him. thing is when something becomes popular and gets to be overwhelming, especially where topics get discussed, people tend to get sick of it (seeing the same topic again and again). posters who talk about him all the time and claim he is god with insulting other fighters is what makes people mad, from what i seen. it usually starts with people dissing other fighters and then replies dissing pac. the other reason is the mainstream audience he attracts, people that dont know boxing or have been interested in it until he was a star in it. arguing with no knowledge can really trigger hatred...
i dont think nonito will reach pac's level. pac has captured stardom facing really big ****in names, i dont see really commercial named stars in the divisions above nonito, just my opinion though..i think if nonito did capture mainstream succes like pacman, there would be nonito bashers as well. (most likely for the same reason pac bashers exist)
