You mean Haye was lying when he said thee WBA didn't allow him to sign a fight with Wlad unless he dropped the Chisora fight? Who would have thought

Only ONE punch will be needed, and we will have the era of "Horizontal Heavyweights" (I mean the British guys) ALL OVER AGAIN, like we had from the 1920's to the 1990's.

I lived in Ireland until I was 27, did all my boxing there, used to get Ring and many other boxing magazines monthly for years, and of course was treated to a steady diet of british boxing in the newspapers, and the Horizontal British Heavyweight was a standing joke referred to almost everywhere and in boxing reports of any consequence.

Surely even some of you guys have heard of this. I mean "Phainting" Phil Scott was famous for it, and he was only one of many. The standard was VERY low.
with 2 big punchers and 2 fighters that have been on their arse before i will tune in. i expect Wlad to win, but to just poo poo it based on what you think your crystal ball says made me lose interested in the rest of what you wrote.

dont they have to announce the DeGale & Groves fight by close of play today too?
Would make sense they are waiting on the American media to wake up before announcing Haye & Wlad. here is to hoping as there are some very strong rumours floating around its going to be made.

hopefully it gets made this time, boxing desperately needs two quality HWs in against eachother. also ppl should give haye more credit, everybody seems to be blaiming him entirely which is just silly. anytime a fight doesnt get made in boxing and both guys are blaiming eachother the truth is probably somewhere in the middle. i think both haye and wlad wanted the fight all along but its hard to strike a deal between fighters with two of the biggest egos in all of boxing. in the end haye knew his legacy was on the line and wlad is just really pissed, so they managed to work things out.

i got wlad by KO in the middle wrounds.

You don't have to rely on what the boxers say, the facts are all in the public domain, and yes, Haye is clearly 100% to blame so far, clearly to anyone who is objective and who has been following the situation closely.

The rumors plus Hayes 'Klit liking' comments on Twitter would make you think something is close to happening.

Hope it happens, i really do but until both men get into the Ring, id even expect one of them to pull out during training camps or something like that.

Nope. This fight doesn't happen - not this year anyway.. Unless Haye tosses his retirement date out the window, then maybe next year is possibility.

I read a rumor on the same site where that one started, that Haye is going to fight Kali Meehan as a replacement for Chagaev to satisfy the WBA mandatory requirements. Knowing what Haye and the WBA are like, that I find more believable.
Yeah, the fact that the fight was made and then cancelled once means even the fight being announced doesn't mean it will happen.
