I believe this could be true simply for the fact that Sky is in a serious dilemma on what to do May 21st. Carl Froch cant share a card with David Haye on SKY due to his Super Six contract, but Sky doesnt want to run a David Haye PPV against Carl Froch's fight the same night.
It's very possible they're working with Hayemaker and K2 for a July card.Comment

Why would Klitschko fans disappear? Even if Haye did beat Wlad (very doubtful), Haye will NEVER beat Vitali.Comment

But what surprised me is Rafael's reply that they are in discussions.Comment

Given that Haye-Wlad would give Sky by far the biggest PPV revenue they have ever had, I am surprised they have let him get away with his games for as long as they have - and the Harrison debacle may have been the last straw as far as they were concerned.
When Wlad made it clear recently that the July date was still open to fight Haye, that if Haye took the date, Adamek would fight Vitali in September, and that all Haye has to do is sign, Sky may have finally - and very belatedly - lost patience with Haye and put their foot down - especially as Wlad also said recently that if Haye doesn't take the July date, Wlad would ignore all future approaches from Haye, because he would not consider them to be serious. While that could have been a bluff, Sky may well have decided that was a risk they couldn't afford to take.Last edited by Dave Rado; 02-24-2011, 10:09 PM.Comment

Alternatively, Sky may have finally woken up to the games Haye has been playing in order to avoid fighting a Klitschko, and told him that he has two choices: fight a Klitschko in July, or we won't cover your fights any more.

It does appear that Sky's opinion of Hayemaker productions has soured considerable after that telecast though. Three **** rounds with one lame undercard fight? Some of Warrens cards have 5 fights on them.
I believe Sky wanted to get other british promoters involved in Haye-Povetkin to ensure that they wouldn't have another bomb card, and with that eating into Haye's money he may have just said "**** it" and got the ball rolling with K2 again.Comment
