Arum is such a clown. Juanma moving up to 130 will speed up the process of making the fight with Gamboa??? Since when was the plan for them two to fight at Super Featherweight??? Can't take anything this idiot says serious.

Yes, there's no doubt that amongst the less intelligent posters there is a definite Arum hatred, that would see a harmless old man , who doesn't know them, and whom they certainly don't know...die. They are either crazy, ******, or at very least, of psychotic sub-normal intelligence. I could even say abnormally sub-normal.
It takes all kinds to make a world as we've all heard, but i wish the hell that these psychotice had taken themselves off somewherr and madce their OWN world, where they could hate and kill to their heart's content.Comment

I am astonished at how much you seem to know about what Arum is thinking and wanting to do and actually planning to do.
In fact I'd guess that you have a HUGE pair of ears, elephant style which allows you to hear things before they're even said.
Why don't you try to contribute to raising the boxing content level of these pages, instead of dragging it down.Comment

It seems to me that Arum was trying to make Juanma vs. Gamboa a PPV attraction and now that seems very unlikely, especially if Juanma moves up. So, let's hope that after the Marquez fight in Sept, these two can get it on in late 2010 or early 2011 and have it on HBO or Showtime. Once Juanma moves up, he won't have any dance partners to command a PPV so maybe we can get lucky and get more fights without having to pay extra...Comment

I hope this means that Arum will finally get off his slow ass and make Gamboa vs. Lopez.
That way Juanma can move to 130 after losing to Yuriorkis.Comment

Juanma is on a mission to get belts in 4 weight divisions. I hope he doesn't rematch the quitter and sends el asere gamboa in to early retirement.Comment

He gives enormous amounts to all sorts of charities world wide, he also supports former Top Rank fighters who have fallen into bad times, with ill health, with medical bills and living expenses for many years already. I wonder how many other promoters do that????
I'd hate to have any money on a guess.Comment

And, a man of his age, still healthy, has a very good chance of living at least another 10 years or more. he could go on until 100, and I hope he does.He gives enormous amounts to all sorts of charities world wide, he also supports former Top Rank fighters who have fallen into bad times, with ill health, with medical bills and living expenses for many years already. What the hell is the boxing world going to do without him? It's lucky for us that he has made proper preparations for succession to himself by training in his stepson Todd DeBoef, who has been taking a more and more active position over the past few years.
Whatever the grouches the few BoxingScene loonies have about him, he keeps turning out good fights and in particular, good matchups.Comment
