Comments Thread For: Erik Morales: Beating Marcos Maidana is Not Impossible

He has a chance "Morales", he has a chance. If he is 100% focused and 100% in shape, maybe he can do this. I know Morales sees something in Maidana that he can exploit. ****, he dropped Diaz, he came close to beating him. And that was a prime Diaz. If anything Morales has grown into the higher weight by now, and he is just toning it up so maybe he will be in killer shape too. He will probabaly rock Maidana and keep him guessing and that would be the key to victory for him. Now Maidana on the other hand is a gnarly fighter, but he is predictable and as long as Morales stays away from those slow wide shots he has a good chance of getting the decision or maybe a TKO. Maidana has been hurt before and he's lost in the past too.

maidana was lucky to beat the count with khan in the very first round...
i don't think he can survive with el terrible...yes, as i've said, a shot morales can beat maidana...

Maidana is a tough fight for anybody. Hes big strong, hits like mule kicks and he can take a punch.
Morales is 34 years old, had the fight beat out of him by Pac, has only had some tuneup fights since, plus a loss to Diaz...
I don't want to say the guy is shot hes not gonna be able to box El Chino off him all night..
Look for Morales to be running all night. Standing and trading is a real bad idea for him in this fight
