I don't mind him going straight for Cotto, but for the sake of competition, I just think he needs a tune-up. Coming off a loss, and then surgery, and to face Cotto immediately after just doesn't seem logical. I mean at this point, do we even know if he can take any punches to that eye? Be that as it may, it's a fight we've all long awaited and I'm looking forward to its announcement.

Cotto will out work and out box Margarito. Marg would have to avoid that left hook all night, but there is no way he is going to do that. I really hope these two fight and Cotto beats the dog out of that cheatin' Mexican punk.

Cheato definately needs to take a tune-up up fight before the cotto rematch just to raise his confidence after having performed so horribly in his last 3 fights. Whereas cotto will be full of confdence having knocked out his last 2 opponents (foreman and the soon to be mayorga) as well as having a better trainer in his corner to come up with a more effective strategy. With the help of steward i see cotto winning a close ud in a wild bar room brawl type fight. possible candidate for fight of the year in my opinion

The reason why no tune-up is being asked is because even if Miguel wins against Mayorga he's still gonna get bloodied and bruised by Mayo so its an even playing field for both Cotto and Tony.

No tune up. U guys remember what happened last time he had a tune up fight before he was going to fight cotto the second time. He got whoop by mosley, and then the reach was cancel. he does not want to jeopardize this rematch.
