The Mosley who beat Margarito, and the Evander who beat Tyson were in a [Steroid-Prime]. Its the prime you purchase over a counter. It's common knowledge that Roy also purchased talent over the counter.

Roy's Natural Prime was from (1988-2003)
    Roy's [Steroid-Prime] was from (1999-20??)

So from 1999-2003 Roy was actually in a double prime, yet he still didnt have the balls to face Joseph Calzaghe. Pathetic.
So how did his steroid and natural prime overlap ya dimwit? You two-three are jokes, really.

Michalczewski won WBO, IBF, WBA titles along with the lineal status when he beat Hill. He was stripped of all of them aside from the WBO due to bogus politics. One of the titles was stripped because he 'refused' to defend one of his titles within 30 days from his previous fight. lol
Revisionist a little? Michalzewski wasn't sprung some note to fight in 30 days immediately after he won the title. Michalzewski was aware of the sanctioning body stance well before he fought Hill. And he chose to keep the WBO belt and fight Nicky Piper, their mandatory, in his next bout. His other option was fighting the far stiffer Lou Del Valle for the WBA. So he went with the sanctioning body who his promoter had a cozy relationship with. I don't recall anyone giving Roy those belts, do you? He fought Del Valle, the IBF champ, in 1998. He didn't fight for the WBA title until 1999. Against Reggie Johnson.

Rocchigiani sued the WBC for stripping his title and simply handing it back to Roy. He was awarded 30 million dollars and it almost completely bankrupt the WBC.
Rochigianni won a belt that Roy gave up. When Roy backed out of a heavyweight fight, he was wrongly given the belt back. But how does that make it a paper title? Seems kind of strange given your argument for Dariusz in your first paragraph. Plus, Jones gave Graciano every opportunity to fight for the title afterward. He didn't want to. End of story.

      • do we really care about this whole ducking business? its already passed.

I would have loved to see Roy vs Joe happen, but does anyone actually think that Joe would have won? not saying it was impossible of course, Joe is a quality fighter(and pretty unique), but honestly would you favor him?

and the best Ive seen Roy was in 1994 against Toney, and thats usually the version of him I use in head to head matchups.
that was before his steroid accusations in 1999(well, according to Joey)

Fight is held in the US, 70/30 split in favor of Roy. No if, ands, or buts. Roy was the attraction. Not Joe. Heck, nobody outside of the UK probably had any idea who Calzaghe was at the time! YET EVERYONE knew who Roy was. But Warren and Co. weren't going to take short money and go to the States only to lose. It just wasn't going to happen. They were making too much money beating scrubs in England. Anyone who can't see this, is either blind, or British.
Perfect post, end of thread. Again.

          • We surely cant bring up paper champions in Roy Jones discussion. He was the ultimate paper champion who never held a lineal title in his career.

                • DM was never the lineal champ. Jones was ranked ahead of him from day 1 when he moved to LHW. What this means is that if YOU are in the top 3 P4P, are ranked #1 in YOUR division and command the MOST MONEY from fanbase and the networks, YOU CALL THE ****ING SHOTS!

Are you all really this dense as to not comprehend this?

Jones was in an exclusive HBO ****ing contract. If, and I doubt there ever was, an offer for Roy to Fight Joe in the US on Showtime, IT WAS COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT.

Stop embarrassing yourself, Jones has even spoke of it and being between contracts with HBO and the offer to fight on Showtime.
