    During the Mora/Mosley fight...

Forget who he was talking to, but the coversation went...

Someone: "Mora is now fighting southpaw"

Lampley: "No, Mora is now STANDING southpaw"

    And....

"He couldn't knock a glass off the table with a running start"

He's freakishly emotional, take a look at this interview, he cries even when having a normal conversation. It almost makes you wonder if he's ok up there.

        LamPley's decent to good.

Did it say anything about when lamps said "that bauble, in that belly button!".

People don't realize how great Lamps truly is. Think about it, the guys been a lead broadcaster since the ***ing Olympic games in Munich. He doesn't get enough love from the media now because he covers boxing(not as popular as other sports). He's up there with the greats of all time like Al Micheals and Howard Cosell.

IMO, it is part of the reason Lampley will go down as one of the best. He has a very vivid mind, he is almost part of the raw emotion that is sports. The agony of defeat, the triumph or victory, blood, sweat and tears, he feels that all. You have to become part of the moment, part of the sport to call it the way Jim does it. You have to be very passionate about commentating and what you're commentating about in order to master it. You can't fake something like commentating, it has to be raw and uncut.
