The possibility exists that the WBO super flyweight current world champion Omar Narvaez will defend his crown April 23 at the Polideportivo de Monte Hermoso against WBO #1 ranked mandatory challenger Cesar Seda. Narváez’s last fight was on February 12 when he successfully defended the title against Victor Zaleta, also in the Polideportivo de Monte Hermoso. Universal Promotions, representing Seda, had hoped to bring the fight to Puerto Rico, and made an offer to stage the fight in May at the Juan Pachin Vicens Coliseum in the city of Ponce, but apparently the respective camps did not reach an agreement.
