Comments Thread For: Bradley's Thoughts on Berto vs Ortiz, Morales vs Maidana

During a recent interview with BoxingScene.com, the WBC/WBO junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (27-0, 11KOs) gave his thoughts on some of the upcoming fights involving other top fighters at 140-pounds. On April 16, Andre Berto will defend his WBC welterweight title against Victor Ortiz. The fight is going to take place at a catch-weight of 146-pounds. Bradley predicts a win for Berto, easy, and would like to see him fight unbeaten welterweight contender Mike Jones.

Does anyone have any idea where the Berto/Ortiz fight will take place? I haven't seen any venues listed as possible arenas for this fight.

it will be nice to get berto from holding thw ww belt hostage with horrible fights

i think ortiz out points him, may even knock him out.

collazo beat berto, ortiz has more firepower and better foot work..

its just a matter of ortiz staying disciplined.

        but berto is over rated

Berto wins this match. I don't know why but he does. Still, I will still label him as a coward never fighting any of the top 10 Welterweights out there. Mike Jones vs Andre Berto that one is match. A whip-like jab of Mike Jones vs the body crunching punches of Andre Berto. It'll be a war and a smart war at the same time. While all I see in Ortiz vs Berto is Ortiz begging the referee to stop the fight for being "too young." LOL

a good matchup which should make for an exciting fight imo. i got berto winning a comfortable ud in this one maybe something like 117 - 113. i don't understand why there is such animosity towards this fight as ortiz clearly struggles to make 140 and berto isn't that big for a welter. also who else is berto supposed to fight at 147 other than pacquiao or mayweather. mike jones possibly but that fight will probably happen later this year if both men remain undefeated.

Its a good fight the best option, money may is out, pacman fightin, mike jones jus fought, ortiz is a welter already hes always real heavy at his fights he prolly drains a lil to make 140, i think ortiz gots a good chance catching him early, but berto clearly better boxer

Mike Jones is the truth! His length, jab, skill set, range, footwork, speed, endurance, stamina and the heavy weight reach is going to cause problems for anyone and I meant anyone in the 147lbs division!
