Comments Thread For: Hatton Will Not Get Involved in Ryan Rhodes' WBC Dispute

European welterweight champion Matthew Hatton will not get involved in the WBC dispute involving junior middleweight Ryan Rhodes. David Coldwell, the trainer of Rhodes, is upset, and has every reason to be, after his boxer was ignored by the WBC for a shot at the vacant 154-pound title. Instead, Hatton will get a shot at the title when he takes on Saul Alvarez on March 5 in Anaheim, California.

Rhodes disgracefully ducked wbc euro king Lukas Konecny, the WBC should ban that guy from their rankings due to cowardice in the first place

Don't blame Hatton. And, who is Ryan Rhodes? He should be happy that the winner of the belt is someone popular and that he'll get paid more when he gets the chance to fight for the belt. Guy is not thinking about a bigger paycheck in the future. Find a fight, keep himself busy, and when Alvarez vs Hatton is done challenge them for a bigger purse. ******, not thinking.
