It's not, JMM and Nacho spoke on behalf of other fighters who get no recognition. In Mexico, if you ask anyone on the street who Canelo Alvarez is and they will know at least that he's a boxer and on his way to a title fight. You ask a random person on the street about a mexican champion say, Miguel Vazquez or Tomas Rojas they will have no idea because they're not heavily advertised as Alvarez.
I'm not hating on Alvarez in fact I root for him in every fight, he has a bright future ahead of him but this title fight was not necessary. For him or Hatton, since they're both undeserving.Comment

It's not Canelo's fault, that's why the one on trial was Sulaiman.Comment

Are people still complaining about this?
1. WBC title is a ***ing trinket who cares.
2. Many a prospect has been brought up in a very similiar fashhion. Miguel Cotto and Andre Berto are two examples
3. When did Marquez become a jealous puusssy like Erik Morales?Comment

And are people actualy complaining about a major network in Mexico promoting boxing by marketing a good boxer?
Ugh isn't this a good thing for the sport?Comment
