Was it Teddy Atlas, Merchant or Manny Steward who said if you have a fighter coming from a devastating loss, you better have Mayorga on your speed dial? That was fcked up.

Miguel Cotto was ready to fight Serg Martinez a few months ago ..don't hand him the crapstick because he's facing a potentially dangerous guy in what should be his tune-up. We know Mayorga's not going down without a fight so its going to be interesting to gauge just how far his abilities have come along since the new direction. I personally liked what little I saw of him against foreman, he had his flaws here and there but overall he looked much more polished than we'd seen in the Pac and Clottey fights. Yuri was fighting like a dog out there, but he just couldn't hang. No matter what though, these two warriors are going to leave it all in the ring and thats why I'm tuning in to the ppv next month.

Waaaar mayorga!! Can´t believe cotto is fighting a guy that has not fought in years. Puto ricans hat on alvarez and chavez and look at this fight. At least call it a tune up, not a fight.
