        Martinez counters Froch to pieces.

Calzaghe would never lose to any man, regardless of race, height, weight, etc...he would have cleaned out 168.

At 164,Martinez barely ud's him.I would have said he gets merked. But I've seen him handle a much bigger healthy fighter.I'm almost positive Froch would leave everything he had in training & come in there half dead. But at 168,Froch's too much man for him.Martinez isn't big enough for the weight, just like Abraham isn't.

Don't think Martinez could control Froch at all, Froch would definitely do enough damage to earn the win.

Damn, you're not kidding when you said you miss Calzaghe! Anyways I pick Martinez by UD.

the cobra would bust that handsome face of martinez up

sergio is fast and tough and confident and conditioned enough to go the distance in my opinion, but he would have serious trouble winning rounds late without taking enormous risk.

he's a good boxer who can deal with speed without having much of his own. he works well behind the jab and has a good sense of distance and timing, and he rolls well with punches that he can see but cannot get away from; the real keys to beating guys with speed (tools kelly pavlik just never developed)
he's got the determination and the resolve to deal with being outboxed early
his chin is literally one of the best in the sport

and finally he's probably coming down from about 190 or 200 lbs of big muscular dude to make 168

he'd have at least fifteen lbs on sergio come fight night

i'd pick sergio to do some eye catching work early and win some rounds
but down the stretch the cobra would come on like a bad habit and likely win a decisive decision

so long as the cobra can deal with making 164 lbs...
