Montiel was constantly touching Donaire too in the second round... Thoughts.

That's like saying Hatton found a rhythm right before Pac knocked him out.

He found his rhythm when he was on the ground.

He hit him with a couple decent shots 20 secs before the KO

Donaire was just timing him waiting for the right hand

Donaire said in his interview with Kellerman that he let him get a rhythm so he could see what he could do and to figure out where his head would be. It was calculated.

man i think that Montiel overslept, he was still all swollen and sleepy looking from the pre fight nap, and to add some irony to the subject (no pun intended) he ended up looking sleepy and swollen from his post fight nap....

he was doing better in that second round and it did look like to me he was beginning to find some success but it was brought to a screeching halt with donaire left hook

Wrong. Ricky was never in that fight. All the punches he could land were the illegal ones.
