Maybe Haye is slipping some BBBoC members a few pounds to rule Chagaev out as he seems to be afraid of him.
Povetkin is better then Chagaev why would he do that?

Arguably. Povetkin hasn't fought a quality opponent in 3 years. Chagaev has been in there with Wlad at least. Povetkin wouldn't do any better against Wlad than he did.

Chagaev: beat Valuev for the giant's first loss, and beat him more convincingly than Haye did later on when Valuev was broken down physically, to win the WBA belt.

Lost to Wlad on a fight he took on short notice because Haye ducked Klitschko, but at least had the stones to get in the ring with the champion.

Povetkin: best known for ducking Wlad for the last three years.

I'm not ready to write off Chagaev just because he didn't take an 8-rounder with Travis Walker as seriously as some would like.

Povetkin is a basket case, and not in Chagaev's league as a professional fighter to this point.

Chagaev is getting ****ed around by the BBBoC, Haye and Booth, Kalle Sauerland and the WBA.

It's shameful, really, the smear campaign going on against him.

I hope he is just in denial about the Hepatitis B, because if he is really in good health then that means he was just completely shot and out of shape against Travis Walker. Walker very will might have had him out of there if it was a 10 or 12 rounder.

I understand that it is unfair to not give him the shot, but if he can't be allowed to fight in England then Povetkin would be a much gamer challenge for the title. Chagaev at the point is done and it would not be a competitive fight.
Kali Meehan and Travis Walker are better than the tomato cans Povetkin has been fighting and looking bad against lately, so if you're using that as your criteria, Chagaev still comes out on top.

Chagaev is being smeared and blackballed, and it ain't right.

Either would be the most live opponent Haye has faced whether it be Povtekin or Chagaev.

Does anyone know why a decision has not been made as to who Haye is fighting in May?
