When will the BBof C finally make the decision on Ruslan Chagaev?

Why is it taking such an absurdly long time for the BB of C to decide on whether Ruslan Chagaev will be permitted to fight David Haye in the UK?

    What's wrong with these people?

In Jan, they said that most likely they will not grant him a licence. Now more then a month later, they still havent given their decision, which will obviously be a no

    Something fishy is going on

Wasn't there an article posted the other day that said they haven't got the papers from his medical yet?

        Okay...

But why is it taking them so long just to fax or e-mail it to the BB of C?

Ah they're not going to let Chagaev fight. I don't think guy even has the drive/energy to do a real training camp, he looked really out of shape against Walker.

Povetkin-Haye would be a brilliant test for both guys, let's all pray it comes off.

Maybe Chagaev hasn't bothered to get a medical? Maybe he's in the gym looking to get into his best shape possible before taking his physical?

I guess we just have to wait in see.

Chagaev says the bloodwork and medical report was sent to the BBBofC a month ago.

I wonder why they are so slow to deal with this?

They're probably waiting until Haye finds someone bad enough to defend his title against.

I read on another site today (ESB) that the WBA may accept Kali Meehan as the WBA mandatory if Chagaev cannot fight in the UK, since he was in the eliminator with Ruslan.
