shocking rankings, and rankings system..........i noticed that luan krasniqi didn't make the top 40 cut, yet in the top 10 you have fighters like: Maskaev, McCall, Austin, etc....

the wbc has really lost its credibility over the past few years.....big time.

      14 .- Audley Harrison (GB)

Based on what???... Audley Harrison isn't even the best in Britain yet! He's gotta beat the British/Brit Commonwealth champ Matt Skelton before he can claim that!

The WBC has gone down hill so much over the last 10yrs. They tend to rate a fighter on how well he sells tickets rather than how good he actually is.

(Hence when Gatti was the 140lb champ) - But when they take their percentage sanctioning fees it's worth more to them.

      Corruption...

These rankings tell you two things; the WBC is biased and corrupt (but we knew that) the current heavyweights are the worst in a loooong time (but I think we knew that too)

I dunno pal, but far as I'm concerned, all the so-called alphabet rankings (WBC, WBA, WBO, IBF, IBO, etc etc) are biased and corrupt, favoring and catering to certain ethnic groups to please certain races, all in the name of -what else- pride and money! But hey, that's part of making boxing dirty- and thus-exciting! Some of the more exciting matches are non-title and are not sanctioned by any of these boxing bodies. Take for instance the upcoming Morales-Pacquiao double header. More exciting than any of the heavyweight title matches lately. And speaking of the heavyweight division, don't you think it's gotten too boring lately? Just my thoughts - peace!
