Excellent words from Paulie, and I hope this fight gets made. I don't see how Dejan is a paper champion if he won his belt by KO in Africa, but maybe he's just looking to rustle some feathers. This would be an excellent fight and I hope it gets made, America or Slovenia.

Dejan better study the tape of Hatton/Malignaggi and try to put the pressure on hard if the fight comes off. In the Jackiewicz fight, Dejan was having trouble getting big shots in because Jackiewicz was fighting so defensively, but around the 8th he just started bullying him and it worked very well. Dejan has poor footwork, so he better just bring the pressure and look to beta Malignaggi up.

i was actually disgusted while watching malignaggi's last fight .. the whole atmosphere , the pace at which he fought ... the taco bell opponent of his ... i was just disgusted ... it made me sick to my stomach .. it was like watching 2 highschool kids boxing and losing their footwork and punching like a bunch of amateurs ... then i think to myself ... how did this guido take cotto the distance .. ?

doubt this guy will travel and fight a named fighter like paulie who has skills and toughness to compete with top fighters himself.

paulie would easily outbox this guy for that title.

Paulie had been beaten badly by Amir Khan at 140, and he took a "test-the-waters" kind of fight at a new weight class. What more do you think he should have done?
