In a win or loss name a fighter/s who won you over and why.

    I have a few.

I was already a fan of Marco Antonio Barrera before he fought Naseem Hamed, but the way he beat Naz WON ME OVER and made him my favorite Mexican fighter. He fought like a perfect boxing robot(like a cyborg).

Also Miguel Cotto and Antonio Margarito both during their fight(IF Antonio really did not cheat).
Cotto because of the style, defense, countering and overall skill he possessed in his loss.(I mean I was impressed and shocked he was even that good). Margarito for his relentlessness, that never die attitude while he was being bombarded with shots really won me over.

..and recently (I DONT CARE WHAT ANYONE SAYS) Juan Ma's win over Marquez. He showed heart of warrior, got rocked a couple of times and kept coming. I DONT CARE WHAT ANYONE SAYS ABOUT MARQUEZ HE IS STILL A LIVE ONE and will beat half of the so called contenders and maybe 7 of the top 10.

Matthysse in his 'loss' against Judah. Showed a surprising skill set and patience, I thought he was just a crude slugger but he beat the stuffing out of a slick fighter.

Donaire- I thought he was a decent boxer but overrated. I was a Donaire skeptic and I thought that Montiel might outbox, out think, and KO him. But after that abusement of Montiel I'm a big fan and I can't wait for his next fight.

A couple come to mind with wins. Marco Antonio Barrera beating Naseem Hamed. Timothy Bradley beating Junior Witter.

Also, Sergio Martinez schooling Alex Bunema got me to notice and appreciate Sergio. Great exhibition of skills for him, in a big way, when he was brought in just as an opponent in many ways.

As far as losses go, I'd say Juan Manuel Marquez, to a certain extent. He's had a lot of downs, with losing to Chris John and Manny Pacquiao. Every time he loses and comes back, it just reassures me that he's a great champion and fighter.

Erik Morales has done similar for me. His struggles with both Barrera and Pacquiao (I rooted against him in both series) really made me see how great he's been in his career. The loss to David Diaz sealed it for me, especially since he could have won that fight. Just a great warrior.
