They sure did...Briggs should've been a knockout if the ref would've done his job. They could've stopped that fight 4 times without any question or dispute. Briggs was defenseless several times but kept flailing after Vitali tagged him to give the impression he was defending himself. Vitali was hitting him point blank & one week in the hospital is more severe than any KO could ever be. As for KJ....He should've been disqualified for strictly playing defense & NOT giving Vitali any openings...the dude was frightened for his life..you could tell by his facial expressions during the fight. Vitali hasn't lost anything & still gives a vicious beatdown to everyone he fights. His KO percentage dropped below 90% for the first time in his career. The dude practically knocks you out at a 90% clip while dominating the scorecards at a 90% clip..... both HEAVYWEIGHT records...yet people still think he's legitimately beatable when he's NEVER LOST in a customary manner & the ONLY heavy in history to be ahead on all official scorecards at the end of every fight he's fought.. Get real.....you're watching the most dominating fighter of alltime right before your eyes as he has every number in the book in his favor. Vitali Klitschko has the highest boxing PER of alltime bar none. I laugh at how people pick great fighters to beat him from other eras when he has all the advantages on his side. I'd make Vitali the favorite against any fighter in history & wouldn't bat an eyelash....that's how dominant he is...you guys just don't want to believe it!

No, but he seriously over-rates Solis if the article is accurate. Solis was a great amateur and has real skills and decent power, but he is not even close to being a great pro. I doubt Dimitrenko really believes it's a 50/50 fight - he even admits that Solis is grossly over-weight in the article. Maybe it was a bad translation. Maybe Dimitrenko was trying to say something like: Solis could be very dangerous early on and Vitali can't afford to look past him - which would be a fair enough comment - and maybe that got mis-translated as him saying it is a 50/50 fight, which it clearly isn't.
