And you came up with this ridiculous assumption how?

Let me break it down like this. If Agbeko does beat Mares we might eventually see Donaire/Agbeko. If Mares wins though, we will never see Mares/Donaire. If Mares wins expect Arum to protect him more than he does with Lopez because Bob will look at Mares as a gold mine.

hes not far off but im not sure if its donaires, arums, or donaires teams fault. i mean donaire is 28 and hes only had two fights with worthy opponents. where was pac by this time in their career ? mayweather? roy? etc.

i used to criticize donaire very hard for this and he impressed me a lot last nite, but if he goes another few yrs without fighting anyobody of note, he;ll deserve more criticism than floyd could ever garner.

Dude will probably face arcs vs Vazquez winner and a bunch of bums before facing Juan Manuel Lopez.
            What makes you think that?

Because every time the lane is open for him to do great things he drops the ball.

After he beat Darchinyan he went on to face mediocre opponents instead of challenging himself against top opposition.

Now that he is in the hottest division and can enhance his legacy watch what he does.

I guarantee he will fight the winner of arcs vs Vazquez and a few bums after that before facing Lopez.

If you can't see what's going on with Donaire then I really don't know what to tell you. He doesn't have the mindframe that other ATG's had and he is cut the same cloth as guys like Berto and others in the sport.

FWIW the guy in your sig is the polar opposite of Donaire because Cotto has taken a ton of risk, hard fights and is willing to face the best.

i don't know if the mares fight is such a good idea. the guy would be yet another small fighter for donaire.....on the other hand king kong would be a war.

Shaw and Arum are two of the best promoters in boxing. Not only that but Cameron Dunkin is one of the best managers. These guys have long track records of getting their fighters great fights and building fighters.

If Donaire pulls what he did after Darchinyan then we know who the common denominator is in this equation.

FWIW I refuse to believe that guys like Arum, Shaw and Dunkin can't get Nonito fights. IMO that's absurb given all three of those guys track records. I just pray Nonito makes me eat my words as he is a tremendous talent who seems to be wasting it.
